Kelly McMillan regularly conducts independent workplace investigations on behalf of institutions and employers. When these difficult issues arise, her workplace investigations allow clients to respond in a manner that is fair, timely, objective, and compliant with their legal obligations.
Kelly’s representative work includes investigations into complex complaints of harassment or bullying, discrimination, sexualized violence, toxic work environment, disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour, and violations of workplace rules or policies.
Our lawyers also regularly advise employers and institutions across a variety of sectors in responding appropriately to complaints of discrimination, harassment, or sexualized violence in their workplaces. We provide support to institutions and employers conducting investigations internally, to help them understand their obligations, align with best practices, and navigate the many complex issues that can arise.
We also act as a neutral third party in the management and informal resolution of complaints.
